    Job Overview

    We are looking for a skilled Assistant Store Manager - Merchandise Management to join our team at METRO Cash & Carry India in New Delhi. This is a full-time Senior Manager role that requires 8 to 12 years of experience. The ideal candidate will oversee inventory, lead a strong team, and provide excellent customer service in one of India's lively retail settings.

    Roles and Responsibilities

  • Boost in-store sales by using strong promotional tactics and creating a welcoming shopping atmosphere.
  • Manage daily store activities, making sure all company rules and procedures are followed.
  • Ensure products are in stock by organizing timely restocks and managing inventory well. Keep an eye on inventory levels and apply strategies to maintain the right amount of stock while minimizing losses.
  • Keep display standards high by regularly updating layouts to effectively showcase products, improving the store's look and attracting more customers.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by quickly addressing and resolving customer questions. Enhance customer service quality by setting best practices and providing ongoing training for staff.
  • Guide and support store teams, creating a positive work environment and encouraging professional growth.
  • Work with senior management to create and execute sales plans that support company objectives.
  • Examine sales data and metrics to find ways to boost sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Improve operational efficiency by simplifying processes and using technology to increase productivity.
